 Bibliometric databases

Dimensions (Digital Science & Research Solutions Inc.) : Multi scientific abstract and citation database (1400-....). Access by suscriptions or free limited access. It analyses :
- the profile of researchers (number of articles, number of citations, number of co authors, history of publications , type of documents, altmetrics)

- the impact of an article (number of citations)

Google scholar (Google) : bibliographic database. Free access. Access to bibliometric indicators by author, journal or article : allows to visualize the range of an author, an article, according to the number of citations.

SCOPUS (Elsevier) : Access via BibCNRS portal : Earth and universe (Galilee, Geoazur and Lagrange)  or  Enginering and systems (Artemis) : Multi scientific abstract and citation database.

Scopus references 22,000 titles from more than 5,000 publishers.
It analyses :
- a corpus  by years (1929-2018), the sources, the authors, the affiliations, the countries, the types of documents
- affiliations (number of documents by subject, affiliations in collaboration, document by sources) .
It establishes :
- the profile of researchers (number of articles, number of citations, number of co authors, history of publications)
- the impact of an article (number of citations, field weighted quote impact)
It compares :
- journals from journal indicators (CiteScore, SNIP, SJR)
- articles from their citations

Web of Science (WoS) (Clarivate analytics previously Thomson reuter) : Access via BibCNRS portal : Earth and universe (Galilee, Géoazur et Lagrange)  or  Enginering and systems (Artemis) : Multi scientific abstract and citation database
