I am studying violent phenomena observed far away in the Universe and associated to compact objects such as neutron stars and stellar mass black holes. These compact objects are created for instance by the collapse of a massive star at the end of its life. Understanding these formation mechansims is one of my long-term research activities. like to study these phenomenae uisng their gravitational waves emission, which is a new way to study the far away content of our Universe.
