The operation in laboratory conditions of the Self-Coherent Camera Phasing Sensor developed in the context of Pierre Janin-Potiron's PhD thesis was confirmed by the first tests performed on a dedicated test bench. The test bench uses only part of the segmented IRIS AO PTT489 mirror (JWST-like pupil) and a 4QPM mask (LESIA) in the visible (632 nm). A calibration matrix in step with expectations was obtained and the response curves of the piston and tip/tilt estimators were validated. The SCC-PS is the nominal cophasing sensor system of the SPEED bench and will be fully characterized on the SPEED bench soon.
